Kristin Thompson

Founder + Stylist + Colorist

As a blonde expert, Kristin enjoys making people feel beautiful. She loves highlighting, curly hair, and enhancing natural textures with light reflective balayage. Her absolute favorite haircut is a clean blunt bob.

With 19 years experience in the hair industry, Kristin is passionate about staying up to date with new techniques, traveling for continuing education, and honing in on the next best trend. Never stop learning!

Briana Clark

Stylist + Colorist

Briana specializes in lived-in blondes and soft, natural colors that create an overall glow. After the Aveda Institute, she completed a two-year apprenticeship on color. She also loves women's cutting and envisioning the finished look for her clients, a cut and color that feel both effortless and intentional.

Her main focus is achieving a style that wears beautifully out of the salon. She enjoys her time visiting with her clients who soon come to feel like friends!

Briana does not currently offer online booking and prefers reaching out via text.

Chris Ace

Stylist

Chris specializes in creating low-maintenance, natural-looking hairstyles using a heatless cutting and styling technique. He believes in promoting the health of the hair and aims to help clients maintain their style easily at home. Chris believes that hair is best left “undressed”. His philosophy is centered around embracing the natural state of hair, and his approach is tailored to bring out the best in each individual's unique hair type.

Caroline Durante

Junior Stylist

Caroline began her cosmetology career apprenticing under Kristin, studying intensely for a year and a half, learning everything there is to know about hair. The training gave her a strong foundation in both technique and client care, and she’s carried that passion into her own chair today.

Her favorite part of the process is the post-blow dry moment. Caroline is actively welcoming new clients for base colors, glazes, and blow dries!

MEET THE FOUNDER

Kristin Thompson

Sienna House is named after my daughter, Sienna — my greatest inspiration.

I fell in love with the name while I was pregnant, inspired by the effortless, natural beauty of Sienna Miller — classic, undone, timeless. That same energy shaped my vision for this space.

As an Austinite, I created Sienna House as a modern, light-filled sanctuary in the heart of Bouldin Creek — rooted in clean beauty, natural textures, and thoughtful design. Here, hair is wearable, color moves naturally, and connection matters as much as craft.

With nearly 20 years in the beauty industry, I bring both experience and intention to my work. I’ve trained across the U.S. with respected modern educators, internationally at the L’Oréal Academy in Paris, and at Oway headquarters in Bologna, Italy — where I witnessed clean beauty from farm to formulation, rooted in sustainability and responsible sourcing.

Sienna House reflects that education and philosophy — eco-conscious, elevated, and built around community.

Street parking is available along 5th Street, and there are three designated spots directly in front of the building. For additional parking, guests may also use the library parking lot located at 5th and Mary.

Please do not park in the driveway for the safety of our guests.
